1. Warranty Coverage

Root & Branch Woodworks guarantees that each item is handmade with care and free from structural defects at the time of delivery.

Warranty Period

• Standard items: 30‑day craftsmanship warranty

• Custom items: 30‑day craftsmanship warranty

What the Warranty Covers

• Loose joints

• Structural failures

• Defects in workmanship

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, drops, or improper care

• Mold, mildew, or swelling caused by prolonged water exposure

• Warping from being left submerged or sitting in standing water

• Normal wear, scratches, or aging of natural wood

2. Care Instructions

General Wood Care

• Keep items dry when possible; wipe spills promptly.

• Avoid extreme heat or direct sunlight.

• Do not place wooden items in the dishwasher or soak them.

3. Water‑Contact Items (Coasters, Soap Dishes, Sink‑Side Trays)

These items are designed to handle regular contact with water, but they still require proper care to ensure long life.

How to Care for Water‑Contact Items

• Allow the item to dry fully between uses.

• Avoid leaving it in standing water for extended periods.

• If the item has drainage grooves or slits, keep them clear so water can escape.

• Re‑oil with a food‑safe oil (like mineral oil or tung oil) every few weeks to maintain water resistance.

• For soap dishes, rinse occasionally to remove soap buildup and let dry overnight.

• Slight darkening of wood over time

• Minor surface wear from repeated moisture

• Natural patina from regular use

What’s Not Covered

• Mold or mildew from constant moisture

• Cracking or warping caused by soaking or improper drying

• Finish breakdown due to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners
